Kopanang has been commissioned to create a banner for the Yale University Alumni Chorus for their 2007 tour to South Africa.

Members are currently working on thirteen large embroidered wall hangings for Oprah Winfrey's leadership school for girls in Johannesburg.

Kopanang members have created a banner for the African Spirituality Conference at St. Augustine’s College in Johannesburg. 

Ashley Bryan is coming to Kopanang in 2006 to work on a children's illustrated book.

Kopanang is being sought by various organizations to provide training to other groups of women in South Africa and Lesotho. 

Previous Events

The Kopanang Universe Canticle was exhibited at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Minnesota for World AIDS Day 2005. It has also traveled to North Carolina, Atlanta, Michigan and Detroit.
